Childcare in Beckley, West Virginia

Rising Stars Childcare (RSCC) has two locations in Beckley, WV and one center located in Lester Square in Sophia to serve you. We care for children 6 weeks through 12 years old.

• RSCC #1 Opened in October 2012 and has a capacity of 58 children. Ms. Danielle Tyree is the director. It is located at 1509 S. Kanawha St.
• RSCC #2 Opened in September 2013 and has a capacity of 61 children. Ms. Debbie Tyree is the Director and the owner of all RSCC locations. It is located at 122-B Appalachian Dr.
• RSCC #3 Opened in June 2016 and has a capacity of 53 children. This center is located in Lester Square -Sophia Next to Dickies BBQ. Ms Lucy (Vellie) Smith is the director.

All three locations have a secure entry door that opens with a PIN number. After entering you will use a different PIN and a fingerprint scanner to check your child(ren) in.

Demand for daycare facilities continue to grow day by day, but all too often, centers are only able to focus on either allowing the child to enjoy their childhood and develop naturally or forcing the child to focus only on mental development in order to achieve high test scores later on in life.

Rising Stars Childcare is different. We promote physical activities in large open areas and a wide variety of educational games, but we also have a small library and various arts and crafts for your child to unleash his or her full creative and intellectual potential.

Our teachers regularly participate in educational seminars and always bring new ideas and input to their daily tasks. These ideas are passed on to your child in playful exercises and diligent study sessions.
